Australian Culture
Australia has a very diverse culture, and with the large amounts of people constantly moving here, it is highly unlikely that it will ever change!
Australians tend to think of themselves as relaxed and laid back people. Because the continent was overruled by the Europeans we are still strongly influenced by their culture and ways of living. The central religion of Australia is Christianity although due to the large diversity of multiculturalism many religions are also found here. Australians do not have a certain dress criteria nor are they restricted to a certain standard way of living.
Indigenous Australians Live through their religion and culture, although sadly through certain views they are seen as a minority in this country as they were oppressed by the Europeans.
Inside Indigenous communities, you will see a display of art and stories in which they live their lives through. Their ways of living are alongside the Australian continent by giving back what they take. Their language is also different and is not often spoken in urban areas. Rural Australia is where you will find a lively rich Aboriginal culture, full of spirit, stories, song and dance.
