Hong Kong Culture
It is said by many that Hong Kong culture is a combination of 'east' and 'west'. Since Hong Kong was still a British colony two decades prior, many of British influences can still be seen throughout the city. However it is interest that many of Chinese influence persist even after British ruling. For example most of the festivals and holidays celebrated in most Chinese regions are still practiced in Hing Kong. However much of the political and governing style of the British empire remains as well.
