Vietnamese Culture - A charming national character.

Vietnam has been influenced by Buddhist, Confucianism and Taoism religion which are integral and contributed to the development of the society and cultures of this nation.

Vietnam's region was formed through a process of anthropological interference and the inter-exchange of two principal ancient cultures, namely the Chinese and the Indian. Concerning the anthropology, Vietnamese have their origin, believed to be one of the principal races of the world and often found in northern and eastern Asia. According to the estimation, there are 54 distinctive ethnic minority groups habiting in Vietnam; amounting to approximated 90 percent of the country’s total population is King people.

In Vietnam, folklore occupies play a necessary role, have an enormous preserve ethnic language development and foster the people's hearts. Folk compositions involve myths, epics, riddles, legends, tales or proverbs with colorful nationality.

In terms to traditional custom, it can be seen that Vietnam is a country of festivals throughout the year such as Lunar New year in January full moon, Cold Food festival, Dragon Boat, Mid-Autumn festival or some agriculture associations for rain cooper or new rice harvest season and so on. In addition, Vietnam also has its own features of ethnic identity expressed through numerous traditional food or through the traditional Ao Dai or Non La costume, for example.
